  • Bollywood Actor – Amitabh Bachchan will lead the campaign and Anushka Sharma will also join the campaign to encourage the women to stand up for their issues.

  • The State Government of Goa has banned buying and selling of plastic bags below 50 microns.
  • The ban will be implemented from July onwards, starting with the fine of ₹500 and then subsequently raised to ₹5000 depending upon the success of the ban.
